MEERA was doing Mother to Child Transmission Project (HIV/AIDS) in Dindigul District under GFATM Round II for past 10 years from 2005, which implemented in Dindigul District. This activity just have taken up by Government with reason of funds allocation. There was identified around 900 HIV Positive Mothers in District with co-ordination of District AIDS Control Programme. Now, MEERA has a wider plan to do intervention among the mothers against childhood TB with supporters if any. Presently, TB Control activity is being implemented for 2 years till December 2017 under Project AXSHYA, which supported by GFATM through The Union and REACH, Chennai.

The another most important activity, Integrated Child Protection Scheme implemented through the assistance of Childline Foundation India under Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India at Kodaikanal hills. 

MEERA expands its activities that are Water based Enterprises, Child Protection and Rights, Social Enterprises, Nature Conservation and Environment Protection. It seeks supports from like minded groups for helping Children living with HIV in Dindigul District through Nutrition, Medical and Education and empowering the child headed families for care of children.

We would like to have partnership with organisations for capacity building of local and regional NGOs, Community Foundations, Social Activists and also for Research Studies. 

Day to day management is being monitored by an energetic Executive Director with  28 years experience.
